When you refer to us, we stay engaged with you, our professional partners, keeping you informed on client progress and incorporating your insights into personalized treatment plans. Our residential and outpatient programs support every aspect of client well-being through a combination of clinical, experiential, and life skills modalities, including academic support for teens. You can trust that clients referred to us receive the highest quality care from a dedicated team of medical and behavioral health experts.
Client-Centered Care
We work closely to ensure a seamless and supported process for your clients and their families. You will become a valued member of the treatment team that surrounds each client and family with a full spectrum of care—whether they are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or another mental health diagnosis.
Ongoing Communication
We prioritize communication with our referring professionals. You will receive regular updates on your client’s progress (with appropriate ROI on file) and play a key role in their support system throughout their treatment journey.
Clinical Access
Our experienced team of Community Partnership Managers and our on-site Primary Therapists serve as primary points of contact for referring professionals, ensuring that you receive timely information about your client’s admissions process, progress during treatment, and discharge plan.

We treat adolescents (12-17) and adults (18+) seeking growth and recovery from a range of mental health disorders and co-occurring issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, attachment wounds, substance use disorder, OCD, disordered eating, suicidal thoughts, social anxiety, phobias, device management issues, and more.
Your client’s treatment team includes a psychiatrist, family therapist, individual therapist, academic teachers and tutors for our teen clients, counselors, medical experts such as doctors, nurses, and dieticians, and a continuing care planner dedicated to developing an after-care plan for your teen or adult following treatment. In addition, clients in residential treatment are supported by Program Managers.
Referring providers will be in regular communication with the clinical team via email or phone. You will receive updates throughout the client’s treatment and be involved in the discharge planning process. We value the insight and experience of referring providers and consider them an integral part of their client’s treatment team.
We work with most major insurance companies, including PPO, HMO, POS, and EPO plans to make high-quality healthcare accessible and reduce out-of-pocket expenses for clients.
Los Angeles Outpatient Center (LAOP) is in network with Blue Shield of California and Magellan Health.

Christine Tonoli is the newly appointed Vice President of Community Partnerships. Previously serving as Executive Director of the Adolescent Division, she brings over three decades of experience in business development and leadership to the role. With an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration, Christine possesses a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
Passionate about advancing mental health initiatives, she is a staunch advocate for mental well-being and its integral role in individual and societal success. Christine is committed to fostering a culture of wellness within communities and driving positive change through strategic partnerships.
Christine brings a strategic vision and collaborative leadership style to the role, aiming to cultivate an environment where mental health is prioritized and celebrated.

Danny Alvarado
Director of Community Partnerships
Danny Alvarado is a native of Southern California. His journey in healthcare began at age 17 when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He is a transformational leader with 17 years of healthcare experience. During this time, he has worn many hats, including roles in Executive leadership, Recruitment, Business Operations, Business Development, and Financial Management. Danny is particularly passionate about mental health and finds immense fulfillment in making a positive impact in this field.
Danny is an Adjunct Healthcare Administration Professor at Platt College. He serves on the Board of Directors for Donate Homes Inc. and is VP of Marketing for Agape Toastmasters. In his spare time, Danny enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their tuxedo cat, Beaux. They enjoy different activities, including reading, working out, traveling, and watching their favorite anime series.
Danny holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and an MHA from Ohio University.

Nicole Topor is a seasoned behavioral health professional with over 15 years of experience specializing in client care, business development, and relationship management. She is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, client-centered care, prioritizing cultural competency, and meeting each individual’s unique needs.
Nicole’s work spans a wide range of populations, including LGBTQ+ communities, tribal groups, and first responders. Her ability to build and nurture long-term, trusting relationships has fostered access to high-quality care, making her clients feel secure and confident in their journey to wellness.
Nicole’s expertise in business development has played a key role in expanding referral networks, driving client engagement, and increasing brand awareness for organizations in the behavioral health field. She has consistently demonstrated success in growing client bases, facilitating collaboration among providers, and ensuring that patients receive the comprehensive support they need.
In addition to her work in client care and business development, Nicole is the co-founder of LGBTQ+ AAMHP (Addiction and Mental Health Professionals), an initiative aimed at education and awareness within the industry for the LGBTQ+ community. Her leadership and event management skills have been instrumental in promoting the growth and visibility of the organizations she works with.

Manager of Community Partnerships
Sasha Ottesen is a dedicated Community Partnerships Manager at Centered Health, where she leverages her diverse background to enhance mental health support and advocacy. She was raised in Wisconsin and has lived in Russia, Australia, and Peru. With a unique career trajectory that includes elevating business practices for Fortune 500 companies such as Walt Disney and the NFL, Sasha has also committed over a decade to teaching the healing power of music and dance to children and adults.
Holding a BA in Theater Arts and a Master’s in Business Management, Sasha’s dedication to connecting the community to mental health resources is deeply personal. Her experiences with anxiety as a student athlete, addiction in her family, and the loss of her uncle to suicide have galvanized her mission to ensure individuals never feel alone in what they’re going through and receive personalized care!
Outside of her professional life, Sasha is a dog lover that enjoys the outdoors and spreading positivity. She enjoys stand-up comedy, playing piano and guitar, and staying active through dance and surfing.
