Our Approach

We sent our son to Beachside Treatment Center for help. The doctors are wonderful, as is the entire staff. The facility and grounds are very nice and tranquil too. He learned how to avoid triggers and how to calm himself is stressful situations. He is now using his new skills to navigate life and functioning well.

I began treatment for anorexia at LAOP after being hospitalized. Between daily nutrition counseling and therapy, I am slowly building a better relationship with food and with myself.

L.A. Outpatient is an amazing treatment center. The quality of care from the amazing people that work there is a major part of what changed my life and the way I think about my recovery. I had zero coping skills before coming here which is how I ended up in this mess in the first place.

My mom was the only reason I agreed to attend The Meadowglade. I guess Mom’s always know best because I had a truly eye opening time there. I loved the facility, it felt like I escaped my normal life to better myself and gain some clarity. The workers were very kind and really loved helping everyone.

Our daughter just came back from her stay at L.A. Outpatient Center. During her stay she did different kinds of therapy with different therapists and had lots of positive information to share. We’re really happy with the progressive she made and the enthusiastic mindset she came back with.

Thank you to the clinicians and support staff that supported me during my year-long treatment. I cannot express the amount of gratitude that I have for helping me through my recovery process. Although my profession is not in this field, you all have incidentally instilled a desire in me to share my story and to help others who are struggling with their own mental wellness situations. Hillcrest is a wonderful facility for your teen. They helped me help my son with his behavioral issues stemming from several fears. The people that work there are wonderful and the Counselors and Doctors are great. He has learned effective ways to handle situations without getting upset. They really helped us out, I was out of ideas. I am really thrilled watching his progress. I would recommend Hillcrest for anyone who has a young family member in need of help.

After the death of my husband, I had severe depression and anxiety that I thought I was handling ok. It wasn't until my friends reached out to me about Los Angeles Outpatient that I realized it had gotten so much worse. The team of professionals working at the center have just really helped me with tools and techniques on how to deal with my anxiety and depressive moods. I'm grateful to this program and to my friends for recommending me to it.

Getting through a difficult situation is just part of life. We didn't know how hard the loss of my father was hitting my child until he started to discuss joining him. There was no hesitation getting him help. Hillcrest was the best fit for his needs and the difference in him today is incredible. Thank you.

When my brother’s ODD came to a head last year, my family was at our wits end and it became clear he needed more help than we could provide. All of us did our research and eventually I came across Hillcrest. It seemed like a great place. So far, we’ve all been working with them for about a month and we’re seeing a huge difference in my brother’s behavior.
