Hillcrest is a wonderful facility for your teen. They helped me help my son with his behavioral issues stemming from several fears. The people that work there are wonderful and the Counselors and Doctors are great. He has learned effective ways to handle situations without getting upset. They really helped us out, I was out of ideas. I am really thrilled watching his progress. I would recommend Hillcrest for anyone who has a young family member in need of help.

Getting through a difficult situation is just part of life. We didn't know how hard the loss of my father was hitting my child until he started to discuss joining him. I’ve been on and off different antidepressants for the last 15 years. When it seemed like the newest one wasn’t helping, my regular doctor suggested TMS and referred me to the Los Angeles Outpatient Center. It’s been about two months and TMS has helped so much. My symptoms have dramatically decreased, and I’ve had a much better quality of life.

I've had anxiety my whole life, and since it's been so bad, I've been unable to acquire a good education or a career, so I've had to rely on my parents for financial support. The Meadowglades staff not only understands the many different levels of mental health disorders, they understand that each person is different and the approach needs to be specific for them. I went for help with my Bipolar Disorder because my traditional therapy just wasn't quite enough. The addition of more experiential therapy, like yoga and aquatic modalities has really helped my mental health.

You can feel that they truly care about their patients and that they are people in crisis, but human first and that's what shows in the care they receive.
