Thank you to the clinicians and support staff that supported me during my year-long treatment. I cannot express the amount of gratitude that I have for helping me through my recovery process. Although my profession is not in this field, you all have incidentally instilled a desire in me to share my story and to help others who are struggling with their own mental wellness situations. Lest anyone who hears postpartum depression think it is not a real thing, my sister is living proof that it is. When my brother’s ODD came to a head last year, my family was at our wits end and it became clear he needed more help than we could provide.
